Trans.L Systems™ advise on the best systems and technology for utilising Returnable Transport Packaging (RTPs) within a supply chain.
RTPs are looped through the returnable supply chain, moving smoothly between grower, packer, retailer and wash facility – this cleaning process ensures all RTPs are sanitised to the highest standards before reuse.
Trans.L can also play an important role in procuring technology. If required, we will provide ongoing management for ‘In the Loop’ Supply Chains.
Our ‘Loop’ Offer:
Closed Loop
- Crates and washing infrastructure are owned by the retailer or owner of the supply chain.
- Crates are managed by the retailer or owner of the supply chain.
- Crates are used exclusively within a closed loop.
Closed Loop Plus
- Crates and washing infrastructure are owned by the retailer or owner of the supply chain.
- Crates are managed by a specialist manager who may also share ownership of the crates and washing infrastructure.
- Crates and washing infrastructure can potentially be used within other related close loops, enabling increased returns.
Open Loop
- Crates and washing infrastructure are owned and managed by a third party.
- The crates are also used by other supply chains.
